Core Medical Billing, Inc. (“CMBI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, coremedicalbilling.com (the “Site”), how we use and share that information, and the choices available to you.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before submitting any information through the means of this website. Please do not submit any information to us through this website or other means if you disagree with this Privacy Policy.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Site — for example, when you complete a contact form, schedule a consultation, download a resource, or subscribe to our newsletter.
This Policy does not apply to Protected Health Information (PHI) that CMBI processes on behalf of its healthcare provider clients while performing medical billing and revenue cycle management services. That information is governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Business Associate Agreements CMBI maintains with its clients, and CMBI’s internal HIPAA policies — not by this Policy. If you are a patient of one of our client practices and have questions about how your health information is handled, please contact that practice directly.
Please do not submit PHI or other patient-identifiable information through this Site — including through the contact form, consultation request, or Audit Readiness Scorecard. If you are an active CMBI client and need to share PHI with us, we will provide a secure, compliant channel for doing so outside of this website.

We collect information you choose to share with us, including when you:
Subscribe to our email newsletter (email address)
Submit a contact form or schedule a consultation (name, email address, phone number, practice name, and the details of your inquiry)
Download a guide, ebook, or other resource (name, email address)
Complete the Audit Readiness Scorecard (your role, practice information, and your responses; if colleagues from the same practice also complete the Scorecard, we may associate your responses with theirs at the practice level)
3.2 Information Collected Automatically

From time to time, we may contact you by email with newsletters, updates, or information about our services. To understand how our emails perform, we may receive a notification when you open an email from us or click a link within it.
Every marketing or newsletter email from us includes an unsubscribe link. You may also contact us directly using the information in Section 14 to opt out or request removal from our contact lists. We honor opt-out requests within 10 business days, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act.
